We quietly released three revisions (current release is 1.51) since Thanksgiving.

One of our new features is our much-anticipated “Document Buckets” feature. This new feature sets us firmly ahead of the pack by allowing mass upload of files directly into a user inbox without a case file association.
What does this mean for you? Now you can upload all of your documents for the past week (yes, hundreds), and sort them from one user inbox. This means it is no longer necessary to pre-sort your files and upload them to single case activities; you can instead load all of your documents at once and sort them from your inbox later.

The MerusCase calendar has also been vastly improved, now associating events with users in addition to cases and attorneys. The “at-a-glance” calendar views have also been completely rebuilt with a brand new interface that handily keeps up with desktop applications like Microsoft Outlook in terms of speed and performance. And all of this without an expensive Exchange Server.

Aside from the new, more attractive interface, events now also include and advanced option for automatic creation of any number of “warning” events, so notice of an expiring statute or other crucial event in the case life cycle occurs automatically.

In other news, we’ve snuck in a few more legacy WCAB (CA workers’ comp) and SSA (social security/disability) forms, released support for custom fonts (based on their availability in your licensed copy of Microsoft Word), styles, and sizing of system-generated letterhead, added several new MS Word templates, and made dozens of other subtle refinements to improve the MerusCase experience.
