With the release of MerusCase Version 3.91, we added a feature that will now notify Firm Administrators when the firm expiration date is approaching. Our hope is that your firm will find this feature helpful in preventing any unnecessary interruptions in your MerusCase service.
Here's what you can expect from these notifications:
1. When your firm gets within 30 days of expiration without payment, a yellow notification strip will appear on your dashboard, which reads, "Your MerusCase subscription expires XX weeks/days from now."
2. If your firm enters the 30-day grace period, you'll receive a pop-up message that reads, "Our engineers are hard at work for you, but they are hungry! Please make sure you have paid any outstanding invoices from us so we can keep their supply of caffeine flowing." In addition to this pop-up, the strip on your dashboard will turn red and will notify you that your MerusCase subscription has expired.
3. When your firm is within 7 days of ending the 30-day grace period, you'll receive a pop-up message that reads, "Your MerusCase account is in imminent danger of being suspended. Please contact us immediately to avoid any service interruptions."
In order to stop these messages from appearing, your firm will need to pay any outstanding balances. If you have any specific questions about your firm's invoices upon receipt of these messages, please direct all inquiries to accounting@meruscase.com!
Please note that, if you have every user in your firm set as a Firm Administrator and you don't want them to see this message, you should consider switching those users to the Power User with Accounting Access level. Instructions for switching user access levels can be found in this knowledge base article!
